Meanwhile, indoors we have new blooms!

A few months ago I posted a photo of this little orchid plant (the height of the pot is 4 inches !) with a new spike forming tiny buds.

Now look at it - the first beautiful blossom, in all its glory, with more to come. Orchids need so little fuss, but will reward you with blossoms that last for months.
