"Bees: tiny insect, big impact" exhibit!
The Oakland Museum of California currently is featuring a great exhibit about bees!
Through family-friendly hands-on events and multimedia, the exhibit informs about the importance of the bee in agriculture and as an integral part of nature.
Visitors can take home guides to creating bee-friendly gardens, learn how toget involved with citizen scientist organizations, and there is even a drop-in workshop on March 22 to build bee hotels for the garden.
What an exciting opportunity for everyone to learn more about bees and how we all can do our part to help sustain the population of these fascinating, hardworking insects!
The exhibit is on from January 31 through September 20.
