After the rain

At last, a good dousing of rain!

From late Sunday night through Monday morning it rained, leaving all of the plants refreshed, and at least a half inch of water in containers in the backyard.

About half an hour after the rain clouds started to break up I took these pictures of the lemon tree. All of the ripening fruit, leaves and branches were covered with raindrops that glistened like beads of crystal.
