Backyard visits

At least one goldfinch has been visiting the backyard and other parts of the garden for the past month. I finally got an image of it as it ran across the top of the backyard fence. It seems to be finding a lot of insects to eat, especially in the Hummingbird Salvia.

On the same afternoon we observed this California Towhee hopping along the top of the same backyard fence.

It's great to see different birds visiting, eating insects and using the birdbath!
