The squirrels that frequent the garden are chubby. There is always food for them - pears, apples and plums from the neighbors' trees, as well as walnuts and pine cones.
While I was taking photos of bees pollinating the Damsom plum blossoms, a squirrel decided to rest on one of the branches. It looks even chubbier than others. Maybe it is pregnant?

The squirrel was first facing away from me on the branch. But as I walked closer, it turned around to look at me.

I thought it was actually quite comical, how the squirrel was spraddled over the branch, staring at me. It probably recognizes me, because I spend so much time in the garden.
