Monday, Memorial Day, was a very busy day on the Sapphire Salvia plants.
Bees were on there all day, sometimes both carpenter bees and honey bees.
And when a wasp would join them, the bees flew away until the wasp was gone.
A sunny, sometimes very breezy day.
These photos were taken within seconds of each other, of different female carpenter bees and honey bees.
Above, a female carpenter bee is landing on a salvia blossom.
