Season of growth

It 's my favorite time of year when plants produce blossoms and the bees are abuzz.

Unfortunately, so far I haven't had my camera with me to capture images of the bees pollinating the vegetable blossoms, but hopefully I will one of these days.

Above is an image of a string bean blossom.

And I'm very excited about this, the Naked Buckwheat Eriogonum nudum producing stalks with buds!

I bought this seedling last year from Oaktown Native Plant Nursery http://www.oaktownnativenursery.info/contact.html

It looks like an alien creature, doesn't it?

I can't wait for the plant to be full of blossoms for the bees!
