I love to watch umber skippers because they seem curious and playful, flitting around the same area and lingering for a long time on flowers.
Whenever I am outside with the camera they seem to like to land on plants right in front of me and just hang out.
While this umber skipper was on the lavender blossom, a honey bee was a few inches away on another lavender blossom.
