Bees and the yellow monkey flowers
The money flower plant is growing quite rapidly and producing more and more blossoms.
The flowers are very beautiful on this particular mimulus plant, with the red nectar spot guides, but
it's really fun to observe bees crawling into the depths of this blossom.
The image above is of a honey bee crawling into the blossom.
And here is a side view of the same bee in the blossom.
And here is another honey bee that just exited another monkey flower, crawling out upside down.
The plant is growing quite rapidly but I'm hesitant about transplanting it to a larger pot at this time because I don't want it to go into shock and drop all the blossoms.
