Point Reyes, California

This weekend we took a day trip to Point Reyes, my favorite place to go to be in nature, enjoying the brisk ocean wind, and refresh my mind and soul.

The fog was slowly rolling in by the time we got to this beach.

It was low tide, and there were many tide pools where I observed a lot of creatures I normally don't see, such as the mollusks in the image above.

Here is a little coral frond, slowly waving in another tide pool.

Such a wonderful sight to behold!

These are brown pelicans in flight.

Even here, along the California coast, it is not such a common sight.
