Honey bees in the morning

Here is another bee waking up in the Prom Dress cosmos blossoms, this time a honey bee.
It stayed in this position for at least ten minutes, hanging over the edge of a petal.
Then suddenly, as the sun peeked through the fog, the bee flew away.

And a little while later, here is a honey bee flying toward naked buckwheat flower heads.
See how the flowers now have more rust color than white.
