The second bloom season for the rosemary hedges

At this time of year, when most of the plants in the garden are starting to go dormant, it's so wonderful to see the rosemary hedges start to bloom again.

This means that there is a lot of bee activity happening there.

Above is an image of a honey bee enjoying the nectar of one of the rosemary blossoms.

I forgot that these hardy plants bloom from late summer through the winter months.

They will provide the bees with mostly nectar and some pollen.
