Flowers in the late afternoon sun


Even though it is that time of year when there are not many plants blooming, there still are some bright spots of color to be found among the drying vegetation.

Above is an image of a Pumpkin Day Lily surrounded by some of its drying foliage.

And here are two buds on the same plant.
