Patio view on a cool December day
I love the patio here.
It's nice and private, surrounded by tall trees and shrubs.
And look at this view of the sky.
I always hear the chirps and songs of birds. Some are familiar, and some I'm trying to figure out.
Because of all the foliage, I often hear the birds hopping around in the trees and shrubs, but don't see them.
So far I've observed and or heard American crows, scrub jays, Bewick's wrens, American robins, California towhees, Anna's hummingbirds, a mockingbird, goldfinches and dozens of brown-eyed bushtits. And of course, bees.
I was told by a neighbor that deer visit the yards here, too.
