Bombus vosnesenskii visiting

How exciting to see this Yellow-faced Bumble Bee bombus vosnesenskii visiting our patio!

Now when we have had a few sunny days, this bee often visits the Sunshine blueberry shrubs.

That nectar must be really tasty.

The Yellow-faced Bumble Bee is quite large, mostly black with yellow hair in the front of the bases of the wings and has a yellow stripe near its bottom.

I have rarely seen these bees, so it's a treat to see one again, especially seeing it often within a couple of days.
