How many Cedar waxwings do you see?

From our patio I observe the wildlife in our neighbor's coastal redwood tree.

In the morning the tree is always full of birds.

How many do you see here? All of these birds are cedar waxwings.

This is definitely a different micro-climate from where we lived before, at a lower altitude.

I've only seen cedar waxwings once, when they feasted on berries of a tree for 15 minutes, then flew away.

They have beautiful silky feathers in brown, gray and lemon yellow, and a narrow dark mask.
