Anna's hummingbird hanging out

The hummingbirds are discovering that our patio has a lot of food sources popping up for them.

This hummingbird is taking a rest after sipping on nectar in the Hummingbird salvia and Cuphea Minnie Mouse flowers.

The other evening I observed for the first time ever an Anna's hummingbird splashing in one of the birdbaths. It really was having a great time in the bath. Unfortunately I couldn't get a good photo to share with you because it was already dusk, so there was no sufficiently light for contrast.

But it was a wonderful sight.
