Ladybugs in the garden

I often see ladybugs at work in the garden, especially the front yard, and I feel so lucky.
Usually they are the Coccinella septempunctata, sevenspotted lady beetles.
Those cute little creatures are helping keep aphids under control.
In the image above a ladybug is in the center of a lambs ear plant.

And here is a ladybug on a Navajo fleabane flower in the late afternoon.
