Even the Western Scrub Jay enjoys a bath
There is at least one Western Scrub Jay that visits the bird bath several times a day, sometimes to drink water and sometimes to bathe.
Usually smaller birds visit and bathe here, and as you can see, the bath isn't very big.
But somehow the jay feels very comfortable in it, too.
Like the other birds, this one loves to splash in the cool, clear water for several minutes per visit.
