Sleeping Bumble Bees

You just never know what you'll discover in the garden, early in the morning.

I was checking the water in the bird bath, and happened to glance over at the Cuphea Minnie Mouse, and saw these two sleeping yellow-faced bumblebees.

It's so hard to fathom how firm the bees' grip must be on the flowers on which they spend the entire night and early morning.

Fascinating.
