Golden-crowned Sparrow visiting

A wonderful golden-crowned sparrow was willing to remain perched on a branch while I photographed it.

I was testing my new telephoto lens in the late afternoon light.

Don't you love the look the sparrow is giving me?

This is shortly before it decided to fly off the branch.
