A Green Sweat Bee visits

After having been away for nearly a month due to a family member's health issue, seeing so much activity in our native garden is such a welcoming sight.

Yesterday, I couldn't believe my eyes when I noticed this Green Sweat Bee visiting the blossoms of one of our native Gum plants. These beautiful bees don't often make an appearance in our garden, but usually one or two do visit.

Usually I've seen them on cosmos blossoms.

Seeing this one on the Gum plant was a thrill.
