rain = water = life
If you've been following this blog, you know that I am fascinated by raindrops.
Like snowflakes, I don't think any two are the same.
This raindrop was floating on a Lavender Feathers poppy leaf.
It was rather large, and remained in that one spot.
Look how the California poppies have grown!
This will be such a bright patch of orange in the front yard!
It's been about twenty years since I grew poppies from seed so this is a big deal for me.
And here is a Zauschneria fuschia "Schefferin's Choice" seedling that I transplanted a week ago.
It is low growing, only up to about six inches in height, but about three feet wide. It produces bright red orange tubular flowers that attracts hummingbirds.
